Impatience

April 12, 2012

Crunching your teeth. Biting your tongue. Curling your knuckles. Sighing so as not to yell. Closing your eyes to ignore the constant jabber. Excusing yourself from the room before fists meet face. Impatience. Frustration. Annoyance. When people don’t understand you want to be left alone. When people don’t understand you don’t want to talk about it. When people don’t see that you are upset and embark on a self-righteous tale. When people are so selfishly obtuse that they don’t take a second to observe those around them and react accordingly. They shouldn’t go out of their way by any means, they shouldn’t confrm to the wills of others just to simply make people happy… but sometimes consideration is necessary and proper and people seem to ignore that because once again they are so selfishly obtuse. Teeth are being crunshed. Tongues are being bitten. Knuckles are being curled. All ready, all ready for attack when that one selfish being crosses their path…

Unwrap the self-righteous curtain to understand the world is compromised of more than one person. And those other people are important too. Consider it. Being impatent is breading, and it is breading fast.
