Arms Open

May 3, 2012

Sometimes it’s not enough to stand there with our arms closed in on us, holding in our insides. Sometimes we are too afraid to let go of that tight clutch for fear that something might fall apart. Because you are afraid that if you do someone might see those parts falling and automatically judge. People will look at you and judge because you don’t have it all together. And that scares you. But truth of the matter, they don’t have it all together either. No one doesn’t. And the man who is brave enough to open his arms and admit to the world that some things don’t come easily and that people struggle. And that man will be looked upon with respected eyes as being strong enough to admit vulnerability. To open up arms to the world and reveal the heart and its struggles.
