The Things That Go On Inside My Head

November 20, 2012

So I was sitting in my bed reading this wonderful book when I stopped to reflect and thought to myself I sure hope I can write a book like this one day. And then Nikki enters dream world. Make fun of my all you want but here it goes.

So I’m wearing this super cute outfit. Not really sure what exactly I was wearing, but you best believe I was looking spicy. All the sudden a super poppy song starts playing and there I am walking out onto Ellen’s stage with a cheering audience all around me. I walk confidently and do a little dance on the way. I do the classic finger shoot at Ellen and she does it back. I sit down next to her and the audience dies down.

We were laughing a little bit and then she goes on to do her classic introductions. Then we get to talking. Apparently I am on her show because of the fabulous book I just published and because of my recent relationship with One Direction member Niall Horan.

So we start talking about my awesome book and how funny I am and blah blah blah. She asked me about my hair and if it was naturally red. And I said “girl friend I wish, but no.” She then asked me where I got it done and I said I did it myself… at home… from a box. I explained my dislike for beauty salons and how they take so long, “ain’t nobody got tiiime for that!” The audience roared with laughter.

And of course she had to grill me about my relationship with One Direction hottie Niall Horan. I gave her the big long story of how we met and how I thought it wasn’t going to turn out to be anything until he asked me to be his girl friend and admitted his secret love for me and my writing skills. It was a tear jerker, what can I say.

We then discuss my addiction to coffee at which time she pulls out the gift she got for me. It was a travel coffee mug with Ellen’s face on it. It was perfect! She asked if I like it and I told her it would be a great conversation starter…

At that point I got hungry and distracted, so I got some food and the daydream was over…

Oh the things that go on inside my head…
