It. Is. Christmas.

December 25, 2012

I woke up this morning and walked downstairs where my family was opening stockings and such. My mom says “Merry Christmas” and I say “Merry Christmas… I need to throw up.” And I did. That’s how my Christmas began. But things can only get better right?

Let’s make it clear, I do not have a stomach virus so this was a little bit of a shock to me too.

Mom made chocolate chip pancakes so I ate one and promptly fell asleep with my head on the kitchen counter. Then I moved to the family room where I slept more and more and more. I don’t really remember much from today. But I slept.

And alas, it was a white Christmas! Though I only peered at it through a tiny crack between the drawn blinds next to the couch, I knew it was there and that’s enough for me.

It makes me hate Texas a little less really. The hot weather and more hot weather and cold weather for two days then hot weather again. It is nice to know that somewhere deep down Texas understands that its inhabitants need a little chilly every now and then. I mean, it is Christmas after all.

I hope your Christmas was wonderful and special and even though my was spent sleeping, it still is a Christmas to remember.

Also, I apologize for my lack of interesting things to blog about. Life is pretty boring when the flu has you sleeping all day and night. But I hope to be up on my feet again and out and about to have new blogging material for your anxious minds!!

Thanks for all of your patience and loyalty <3

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
