Meet me in St. Louis Loius, meet me at the fair...

I have been out of the blogosphere for the past few days as I went on a little road trip with my family to my hometown of St. Louis, Missouri!

It took us a beautiful 10 hour drive to get there, and it was worth every minute of it.

I moved to Texas just after I turned 12, but it is amazing how much I forgot about the place in which I spent my childhood. But the thing that stuck out to me the most going back after all these years, is just how beautiful Missouri is in comparison to Texas. Everything is Missouri is lush and green and hilly. It just goes to show that you don't know what you've got until it's gone.

The rest of my trip included going to the St. Louis Zoo (which is by far the best zoo in existence), visiting special places of my childhood like my old homes and favorites parks and spending some time downtown. We also stopped at the best fast food place in the world.

Pardon some of the bad quality photos, I had to shoot with my iPhone for much of the trip as my real camera was being fussy. But nevertheless it was a lovely trip. Enjoy some photos of the great old St. Louis.

This was the highway surrounded by lushes green forests and hills on our drive there.

The St. Louis Zoo! It doesn't get much better than that.

The classic belly bomber. If you haven't tried a White Castle, keep your eyes peeled for the next time you are out on the road. The best fast food in the world.

This is quite random, but this is the playground at the school I went to for Kindergarten and First grade. Once I was on these bars trying to show a trick to my mom when I fell straight off and onto my chest/face area. I had quite a few cuts and bruises. So naturally, we had to get a photo by it.

The St. Louis Art Museum and the surrounding grounds. So beautiful! Missourians sure do like their grassy knolls and large fountains.

The St. Louis skyline. What a cool city.

This is my new favorite picture of all time. We have a photo exactly like this when my siblings and I were all kiddos, and here we are all grown up!

Hope you enjoy and I will talk to ya'll soon! xoxo
