Sisterhood Everlasting | Book Review

I blame the positivity and possibility that summer brings, because lately I have been falling into the habit of watching/reading really sappy lovey dovey things and it has given me all the feelings, to put it simply.

One of these mushy (yet very well done) books is Sisterhood Everlasting by Ann Brashares. Sisterhood Everlasting is the 10-years-later book to the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series. Funny enough, I didn't read the other books. I fell in love with the movies and only just read this book last year. By golly I have been missing out!

If you are a fan of the books/movies you will definitely enjoy the book. It is one of those easy read, feel good novels that you can crank out in a few days for something fun to do. And it leaves you with feelings and happiness and a sense of possibility.

Warning, this book may lead you to have unrealistic expectations of men, and will definitely make you want to travel to Grease and perchance invoke feelings of grandiose. You have been warned!

But you can be prepared to get sucked into the lives of four best friends and the journeys they still take all this time later. It travels through love, loss, discovery, hope, failure, independence and all of those cliche sounding adjectives.

I have nothing negative to say about it; I had my noes in the spine for days trying to finish it in my limited spare time.

So if you are looking for a simple feel good novel, I would definitely recommend this one.
