My stars

I was a boring day, a dramatic afternoon and a beautifully peaceful and free night. It was one of those days that through everything at you all at once in expectation that you would keep it all together.

But no matter how much of a rollercoaster the lit hours of the day was, the breeze of the evening and the foreboding darkness bring a juxtaposing peacefulness that calm me down.

Though I am now sporting mosquito bites on my legs, my stomach and the bottom of my foot, it was all well worth it for an evening spent high above the rest of the world, but still under the expanse of the stars. They bring me a sense of relief like no other drug in this world could.
